Landscape =)

This is my land emphasis landscape. It was taken October 30th in Bena at 3:59 pm on the scenery mode
with the flash on.

First I used the clone stamp tool to get rid of some of the stuff on the ground and I also edited the trees on the upper right hand corner. Then using curves I enhanced it a bit ; output 185 and input 196. And I also used brightness/contrast; brightness - 8 and contrast to 66.This is a land emphasis because there's more land than sky and the main focus is on the train tracks. I like this it because I it makes me think about history and I thought it was something different compared to what I usually take pictures of.
^_^

This is my sky emphasis landscape. It was taken on October 20th at 4:45pm on the scenery mode with the flash on.
 The first thing I did is took the power lines out using the clone stamp tool.
Then I went to curves and brought it up a little bit. Afterwords I used the vibrance tool and put the vibrance to 8 and kept the saturation the same. The picture really didn't need a whole lot of editing so that why I only edited it a little bit. I I love this picture because it's like a perfect sunset. And this was the view from my bedroom window so thats even better.

Black & White w/ Color

This picture was takes October 21st at 1:40 pm. I took it on the flower mode.

This is the black and white picture. To make it black and white I went to hue/saturation and pulled the saturation all the way down. And I went to curves and made it a little brighter because the flower looked really dark.

   After I changed it to black and white I selected the flower using the marquee tool. Then with the flower selected I used the eraser tool and made the flower and stem have color. I color corrected it afterwords using curves and used brightness and contrast to make the picture look more vibrant. I changed the brightness to 8 and the contrast to 31. I like this picture because it's very peaceful in a way. In my opinion the grass and flower make the picture very relaxing and pretty .

Photo Cleanup

This is a picture of my neighbor's house.It was taken October 13th at 4:39pm. I took it on the scenery mode with the flash on. I chose this picture because it looks nice and I couldn't find anything else
around my area that i can change. =))

Ok, so first I got rid of the water stains using the clone stamp tool because they were very distracting. Then using color balance I changed the red to +26, green to +24, and the blue to +20.Then I went on the vibrance tool and changed the vibrance to +8 and the saturation to +6. After all of that I went on exposure and changed the offset to -0.0393.The clone stamp tool worked the best for me because the other tools just kept copying things from the windows and i didnt like it. I like the color corrected photo better because the water stains are out and its has brighter colors. I tried making the windows a little darker but obviously that didn't work out for me. ^_^

Color Replacement

This picture is kind of an old picture, it was taken in 2007. I'm pretty sure the mode was on auto.I used this one because I didn't want use color replacement on any other of my newer photos.

So, for this picture I changed color of his eyes to green, if you look closely you'll see. I changed the color of his head band too. Then using the adjustments mask I increased the vibrance to 33 and the saturation to +16. Which made him look kinda tanner instead of him looking pale like in the first picture. I like this picture because the the colors are a brighter and in my opinion, it makes the picture look better. =)
